To be very honest I have used this phone for almost a year now.
here is my analysis till now:
Pros:
- Great camera at this price, in fact, the ultrawide camera gives awesome shots in good lighting and comes with 48MP as well. So overall best camera in this segment
- One of the best Display that comes in this price ( provided that your phone don’t come with the burnout issues and other issues at low brightness like discoloration/ patches/ green tint in youtube, Netflix, amazon prime, my device is having these issues and trust me this ruins the issue at night or whenever you are in the dark environment don’t believe if people say its a minor issue, it’s not !!!! )
- Decent performance at this price.
- One of the best build quality that you can get in a phone at any price.
5 Awesome loudspeakers and microphone quality. - Great sound output from wireless/ wired earphones.
Cons:
- Display issues
- Battery performance is not that great ( for some people it is, for some it’s not ). I get around 5 hrs of SOT.
If you compare with OP 9R,
- 9R obviously performs better.
2 . Its Camera is not better than OP 8 pro - Display is great but OP 8 PRO got a better one ( if no display issues ). Battery performance will be great.
- Build quality will not be that good with polycarbonate back.
Performance and software updates can be the best reason for buying OP 9R because SD 875 and OP 8PRO got SD 865. One more year of software update if you buy 9R
Rest OP8 PRO beats it in every corner.
Now choose according to your requirement.
